I’m new here and thought I just say hello… I just arrived in the Pretoria area from Melbourne a month ago… The plan is to stay for a year or so. Let see… O0
The last five year’s I tried to travel on my 640adv a bit in oz – now I’m here in sa and already keen to ride… Initially I planned to stay bike less and hire a bike every now and then instead, but I guess I changed my mind…
If available I would go for a 690adv – but I’m not really fussed to rebuild a 690R and finally add an ugly pannier frame
uke:. I’ve driven the 800gs and must say it’s definitely the best beamer I’ve ever driven, but unfortunately I had the chance to try a 990 as well… That was it for the beamer…
Hence I’m now trying to find a 990 s/r which suits me to finally join you guys on the tracks...
