Hi All
I have now spent a few weeks familiarising myself with the Zumo and I must say enjoying the learning experience. Practice most certainly helps to familiarise yourself with the unit and its features as well as the mapping software.
I can see the potential of getting routes, waypoints and track duplicated on the unit. I have loaded the maps on my home computer as well as my laptop. I can load information from my GPS to either computer and from either computer to my GPS unit. I have been sent routes from other forum members which are stored on my computer as .gbd files and have downloaded all my information from the GPS into a .gbd file. I have noticed that occationally I get a random waypoint popping up on the GPS. I think its from tapping the GPS screen.
How do other members of the forum manage their data so as to avoid overwriting or duplicating information on the GPS when its comming from various sources?
Regards
