I bought a Motobatt battery along with a Optimate 6 about two years ago. The battery was great initially, lots of cranking amperes. Actually a bit more than the stock Yuasa battery. At the time I was using the bike everyday. Occasionally used the Optimate then.
Then stopped commuting with the bike, and connected the battery on the Optimate for weeks at the time. After a while I became aware the bike wont crank over in the mornings, and after a jumstart it would start again all fine when engine is warm, I would ride it around town for a while, and the very next day it would not crank over on its first start. When I measure the voltage of the battery it is just over 13Volt and would stay there. Connected the Optimate again and all green lights.
Anyone here experienced this before?
