I just got myself a cool new toy. An MSI Wind Notebook. Its really small, runs winXP and has a 160GB hard drive. Basically it does everything a normal notebook does, except it has no CD drive. Small loss as it has built in bluetooth and wireless networking. The processor is an intel Atom, with 1GB of memory. I've been fiddling about with it and found no problems at all running common programs. In its carry case it is smaller than A4 size and about 25mm thick. I bought it mainly so I don't have to lug my other laptop into Joburg all the time, as it is becoming a bit temperamental from the abuse. So for trips the MSI will fit into a tiny space, and I have a 12V caharger to run it off the bike battery. Cool!
