Nothing wrong with that!!

Was it much less fun than on the plastics? I saw some good smiles there.

To me the difference is that after doing Van Zyls Pass with the big bike i was glad and proud that i did it, but i didn't want to do it again. For me it was the "been there, done that, got the T-shirt scenario.
With the plastic bikes its like "lets quickly go do van zyls pass over the weekend" kind of thing. And if we have time lets go back in a month again.

Guys a video of our trip last weekend through damaraland.

Enjoy

Epic RR. Been in Angola last month at Flamingo Lodge. Rico took us over to the island to check out the town (Tigres) .Would love to do Doodsakker from North to South and then circle route back through the dunes. Did it with the bakkies last month but would be nice on the plastics.

Thanks, still need to finish this RR. We've done two subsequent Angola bike trips in the meantime - riding is so much more fun than writing.

To be honest I wouldn't waste time and effort schlepping bikes up all the way just to do the DoodsAkker. It's nothing more than a chilled ride on the beach on the 500's (think Henties to Swakop). Unless of course if it's done as part of a proper bike trip:)
