Guys, Just bought a 250. Its a 2002 . I don't know if it is a MXC or EXC. Where do I look? Whats the difference? its got a sidestand and I got a headlight with it, not fitted. Bikes been standing quite a while. Starts easy, one kick. The radiator was almost empty. I took it for a spin and goes like hell.
The clutch make a different noise if I pull the lever in to idling in neutral. I checked the gearbox oil and saw that it is grey. If the water went in there, do you think it went through the waterpumpseal ?
I drained the gearbox and went to buy oil but could not find 20W-40, salesman said 20W-50 is almost the same. What yous say?
Also the forkseals are leaking oil. You think the seals got hard from standing or can it be dirt?
