I have always been a fan of the vintage bikes. The real classics when men were still men and riding was a serious business.
Last year in July, i had the privledge of playing around on some old bikes, courtesy of African Sky. While at his house, his 'ol man was busy restoring this:
At the time i had no idea what it was, but it spoke to me ;D ;D
Found out that it was a vintage Panther (British bike, 600cc).
I went home, did some research on the bike and decided it was mine.
Called up the 'ol man, made an offer and viola O0
So the bike is almost ready, took it out for a short ride on Saturday morning, and what a ride :thumleft:
Have a couple of nigglies here and there, but otherwise a sweet ride. I am waiting for tranfers to arrive from the UK so that we can finish off the tank and the paint job.
The excitement is huge ;D ;D
