Event owners Rika de Bruyn and Mark Taylor will host the 4th Annual Natal Dual Bike Adventure (NDBA) at The Nest Hotel, Drakensberg, Kwa-Zulu Natal this year. After a very successful LDBA, which attracted around 133 entries – we are hoping to offer similar fun and rides at very affordable rates!
The Nest Hotel is a delightful family run country hotel situated in the Champagne Valley in the Central Drakensberg area of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Since opening their doors in 1933, they have built up a loyal following of guests who return year after year to this special place steeped in history and adventure. Enter NDBA now and experience their delicious country style food, spectacular gardens, wonderful facilities, relaxing accommodation, friendly staff and exquisite views over the Ukhahlamba Drakensberg World Heritage Site.
This event caters for all makes of bikes that are registered on the road and we offer technical and non-technical gravel routes that are also pillion-friendly. Two days of great riding on easier Green -, Red - or Black routes will be on offer. This weekend is known for its challenging rides on red or black, set by Mark after almost 2000kms of recce work done! This is what this event is about – riding terrain that’s not normally on offer for any rider which includes jeep- and cattle tracks and passing through farms where special permission is given to us! The Drakensberg offers spectacular and challenging riding with beautiful views and scenery! Don’t miss out!
