Hi guys. So annoyed! Was trying to release my GPS from the nav 6 cradle and the release mechanism jammed and wouldn’t retract. Trying to eject it using the right hand side release lever on second attempt snapped the lever. I disassembled the unit after BMW dealer told me that had no idea what to do.
Have tried to unsuccessfully use Q-bond and now thinking where I can get another. It’s a brittle plastic component and a really flimsy design given its function!
Ideally would love a 3D printed one or something made of a better material.
Just have no idea where to start! Need some suggestions!
