I currently only ride the Alp on (some) weekends and she is honestly a fully kitted garage queen with just over 4000kms on the clock. In the week I commute around 35km per day on the scooter.
I'm considering selling both and getting a new but unfinanced NC 750 auto to commute, play on weekends and take the odd long distance
tour as well. This means less licence fees, less insurance, more space in the garage and the NC's fuel consumption will probably be quite close to the scooter. Nevermind a new bike too.
I'm just not sure how the motor will cope with highish speed extended touring, how much weather protection they offer and if it will fall apart on any amount of gravel riding ?
Would appreciate feedback from owners who ride them daily.
