After months of lurking on XR650R threads I took the plunge on the 24th of December. I sold the "L" to a WD, she treated me well, was probably the best buy I could have made after being off a bike for close to 16 years.
Did a few hundred k's on the R since Wednesday, all I can say is "bliksem di's lekker", thought the speedo was wrong until I rode with a friend wif gps, she just keeps going 'till I lose my nerve, ek is maar 'n banggat :biggrin: Will take me a while to get use to her but I'm enjoying the learning curve, will have to change the rear tyre though, want to save it for sand/gravel. From the pics you'll see she needs a bath and a bit of tlc, I'm just enjoying her to much at the moment to sit still
