Greetings,
I am an experienced rider who will be moving to Kigali, Rwanda next year. I'm taking a 2009 Triumph Bonneville with me, mainly for use in Kigali and probably for short trips throughout the country. For longer trips, I will likely rent a dirt bike more appropriate for road conditions, etc. I have some idea what to expect in a developing country, as I lived in Hanoi for 4 years and have ridden most of Vietnam and Laos.
That said, I'm hoping to get any intel possible on roads and riding in Rwanda. Additionally, I'd be keen to get in touch with people who have ridden in E Africa generally for tips and suggestions for rides.
