Hi Guys
Sent here by a couple of Wild Dogs - Thanks for letting me join.
Loving the sense of camaraderie that appears amongst all of you riders.
More than that the information here is invaluable - apologies for only introducing myself now been lost in the awesome comments and ride reports for weeks.
About me -
Late twenties, Work in IT, from Johannesburg been here in Cape Town 7'ish years, live in the Southern Suburbs (by the big mountain).
Bikes: CBX 250 (everyone knows the delivery bike), a few Quads, a scooter, some time on a KLR650.
Currently looking daily for my next bike - a 2011 (or older) BMW F800 GS with less than 30 000 km. Had been interested in a Yamaha Tenere XT660Z but finally (as of today) decided on the 800.
Funny story sold the cars (got too excited and thought my cars; 4x4 and a hatch, would take a while to get rid of) and now looking for a bike as primary vehicle. Until I find the right one, its Uber, walking (work down the road) or the bike without the engine to get around.
Cheers
