Guys, now you need to help out here... I recently bought a new Shoei Hornet clear visor from Trac Mac. It came in a hard-plastic bag without any film on it (like when you buy your helmet new which you have to remove) and allready had fine little scratches on it. The scratches arent like deep scratches, just ligh scratches one sees when you look at it in the light.
Is this normal when paying nearly R700 for a visor? My new helmet didn't have these for some time.
Never bought visor before and don't want to be ripped off here....
Please let me know your thoughts....
P.S. DONT get distracted while washing a visor with a kitchen sponge. You might end up washing it with the rough side - creates lovely new features on your visor... IDIOT!
