Hi all,
I heard about this forum and decided to join.
I used to ride a CBR600 when I stayed in Gauteng and decided to sell a few years back.
Since moving to Cape Town 2 years ago I have been itching to get back on 2 wheels. I finally took the plunge and waiting delivery of my 2015 F800 GSA (Hopefully this week). I might as well try the adventure thing as the sporty bikes get me into trouble.
Seeing as I am new to this style of bikes, I thought it would be a great idea to ask for advise on the bike and possible easy dirt roads I can go try out around Cape Town once we all come out of house arrest.
I do have a work trip to George coming up next week and I am planning to use the bike instead of a car.
ps. the only adventure style bike I have ridden was a R1200GS and was only a short distance at 40km/h.
Looking forward to hearing back.
Cheers
