So I have bought a new toy! My reasoning behind it, I couldnt afford the R80 anymore. It was just requiring too much attention from me at this point in time. But I will certainly be getting a R80 some time in the future again.
So here is the old and the new, 1981 R80G/s and 2003 DRZ400E, Seeing this pic really makes me wish I could keep both.  :-[

of course the 400E model is not road legal so its gonna require some surgery

And finally a last farewell to the R80. She will be safe with the new owner. He has a 1986 R80GS PD that he perfectly restored over 3 years. And I sure she will get the treatment she deserves with him.

So the DRZ still needs a hooter, brake light switches and a low/high beam headlight to be roadworthy. And then hopefully the registration process will be quick.
Anyway,
Newguy out
