Nice alternative to saddlebag brackets (KLR owners take note)

I found this rather interesting alternative for keeping my saddlebags off the bike. I like the simplicity of the design 'cause I can have it lasercut and bent very easily. It's from https://www.fishersaddlebags.com/Kawasaki/08klr650.html

Opinions? Good or bad...

I have the oxford saddlebags, so they don't need to be as big as in the picture.
