I kinda feel sorry for this bike, running hot in traffic, clutching it and often riding the back brake on emergency standby. Certainly not what it was designed to do, so to save the mileage en wear&tear on the Tiger, I bought a little Honda PCX125 scooter to commute. I'll have to use the suburbs to get to work anyway when they switch the gantries on.
This thingiemabob gives 48km/lit (Tiger averages 18), uses PGM Fi Fuel Injection, stop-start tech, linked brakes etc. Very nice quality and at R18k new, its about the price of an exhaust plus luggage on the Tiger...
And it will cost me a full R150 a month in fuel to work and back every day :ricky:
