THis morning when i started the dak, everything is fine, except that she does not idle.
Hit the starter, bike fires and as soon as the revs drop to idle level, the bike stalls.
I fired her up again and kept the throttle open a smidgen, and bike idles.
I start adjusting the throttle cable, this seems to have done the trick.
My question/concern. Saturday the bike ran sterling, no problems whatsoever. This morning, all of a sudden this problem.
I had to adjust the little cable screw out by about 5mm.
When i turn the handlebars full tilt left, the revs climb into the 5k region. Makes me think there is something fishy with the throttle cable.
I really dont feel like taking all the faux tank panels and airbox off to check it out, but i suppose it will have to be done.
Bike is a couple of hundred kays short of 50k
