North West Trip - Advice needed

Hi guys
Doing a trip through a bit of North West and would like some input.

We are going from Mooi Nooi to Zeerust and through to Thabazimbi. We will sleep over there before heading back to Mooi Nooi.

Any advice on roads/routes/places to see?
