We're planning a trip in July to Kaokoland. Need some info from those that's been there, live there or are also dreaming of doing it and have some info!
At the moment one option is to trailer the bikes up to Windhoek (there is 3 of us going)
From there we shall go west trough Uis, Twyfelfontein, Sesfontein, Opuwo to Epupa Falls.
Does any body know what the road is like from Epupa Falls to Ruacana following the river? Think its the D7300.
Another option is to go more west from Sesfontein to Orupembe and work our way up North to Epupa Falls from there.
We have 10 to 12 days to do the trip.
Havent thought about trip back to Windhoek.
Any suggestions or info on road conditions, weather, camping and fuel availability will be great.
