Around 2016 I bought a 1290 Superduke.
Trailered the bike to Gauteng, plan was to do the first 1000km in the Lowveld.
Between Hazyview and Graskop, doing way over 200kph, on a blind hill, I saw this massive pothole. Momentum was too much to swerve on such short notice, so I tried to slow down, and before Impact just wacked the throttle wide open again.
I pulled these pics of my Go Pro few days later.
Busted the front rim, rear rim, and two front shock seals instantly. End of the weekend....... 600km on the clock.
Luckily I did not go down.
