I like the Nuvi 205widescreen
but I think the firmware sucks. There are not even remotely enough features to keep me entertained.
I like the Oregon 300
but I think the screen sucks. It is way too small and dim.
Oh ye hacker gods of the internet. Do any of you know if it is possible to replace the firmware on the 205 with that of the Oregon.
Why? Because I love the features of the Oregon: Customisable data fields. Predictive sunset at destination. Ocean tide planner. And many more! The Nuvi is about as informative and knowledgable as a school choir teacher.
I want to hack a Nuvi 205 so that it will be as clever as a Oregon. I tried to Google the answer but I couldn't come up with much. Can anyone assist?
