So I am the proud owner of a XR650 8)
How much oil do I use on the airfilter? Do I soak it in the oil, or do I just smear it on, work it through and let it drip dry?
I have a Twin-Air filter.
Also, what engine oil do I use? I put in GTX 20W50, as per the previous owner's recommendations. Wouldn't fully synthetic motorbike oil be better?
How often do I service her? Every 1500k's ?
The frame has got some rust spots on. I want to dismantle the whole bike, have the frame sandblasted and powdercoated. Is this good? What would this cost me?
Its not really neccessary, but I like to fiddle with fings....
