Race Dog
I just got this message from Jambers mate, Hugo.
Hey Lito
A while back Jason Manley (Jamber) went on a ride with you guys. He got a Gholf up his front suspension a bit earlier today and is in hospital, ok, but with some broken bits. (First thing he asked me is if he will be able to get the Dakar back on the road!) He's a good mate of mine and, although I have not been in a car related crash, I figured a visit from fellow DS riders might do him good. I have no idea who all went on the ride, and who went on some of the other rides he went on, but you might. He's in Vincent Palotti's, I'm trying to get the ward detals and will send 'em if you think someone might be going round.
Cheers

Hey George
Vincent Palotti is in Alexandra Rd, Pinelands, 33°56'35.55"S 18°29'25.15"E, on Google Earth (I dont know what datum system they use). He was coming from the N2 unto Rapenberg and had the usual "He was coming so fast I didnt see him" with a lady in a Golf (as we know, all bikes travel at the speed of light since we appear instantaniously, specialy to ride into cars). There was oncoming traffic, so the other lane wasn't an option and he managed to only get hit on the fron wheel, and then went flying, fortunately clean of any cars. He broke his left humerus (put together with a nail now) and left big toe and right thumb. He will probably be there for a a few days. Bike was not so lucky, but the main mechanics may still be happy. A new fork and front rim will be a must, and all the wonderfull ($$$) fearing is cracked.
Thanks a lot for the response! As I mentioned he is already thinking of the next ride!

If anyone wants to call Hugo, his forum name is slowGo - zero posts. He actually seems to have joined just to let us know about this.
I will go visit him - tell me if anyone wants to double up on a time.
