Saturday 9 March
We meet at the Shell garage (Ladybrand exit) at 12h00. We travel to Rhodes via Lundeans Pass, and overnight at Walkerbouts Inn (Bed and breakfast cost R405.00 per person sharing), we will have pizza’s for supper, they start from R30 each. Approximate distance – 300 km.
Sunday 10 March
Leave Rhodes at approximately 08h00 for Mt Fletcher via Naude’s Pass, through the Ongeluks Nek reserve, into Lesotho to Mpaki, Sekaki and Seforong. Cross the Senqu and head to Semonkong. Spend the night at the Lodge (R330 per person per night), meals are not included. Approximate distance 260 km, but mostly dirt.
Monday 11 March
Leave Semonkong after breakfast, see the falls and head back to the Brand (2.5 hr trip).
