During this weekend's trip I filled up my 990R for the 200th time
I have recorded every fill since the very first one (after the little splash that the dealer put in so that I could ride it away from the shop!). Click on the link to my Fuelly stats below...some stats you'll see there:
(I bought it brand new on the 19th January 2010)
Used 2 443.42 liters over the past 41 618 kms.
Total cost of petrol R25 276.87
Ave consumption 5.8 L/100km or 17.1 km/L (i.e. 300km per tank easy!)
Average distance between fill ups, 206 km
I do not commute on this bike. It is used for some day trips but mostly longer trips / tours. I'd say that more than half of the kilometers logged so far have been while two-up with panniers on our longer trips.
Other than regular services I have had to fit new brake rotors front and back (rivets came loose). I am on my 2nd set of back brake pads but still original up front...they just won't die!
