Is this an expensive bike to run and maintain?

If one reads on here it seems to give good service and high mileage, but the question is - at what cost.

Seems that common issues and repairs to things like waterpump seals, steering head bearings, swingarm bearings, drive cush rubbers, etc may require a chunk of cash at times to resolve thus steadily raising the cost of ownership beyond only the normal consumables (batteries, tyres, chains, sprockets, brakes, etc).

If you had to rate your Dakkie on cost of ownership, including breakages and scheduled services, what would be your experience? Is the Dakkie a reasonable bike to run/maintain/keep in good working order, or is it a money pit of expensive parts, breakages and maintenance.
