Pants not working with boots

So, bought a nice pair of BMW City pants on the forum.

Does not fit over my boots, Sidi Crossfire.

If I look at it correctly the pants can go in-between the plastic part of the boot and the boot itself but the city pant is too bulky (maybe I'm using the boots wrong[emoji6]?)

Sigh...

Think I will need to sell the pants now again... but what do I replace them with? I liked the City pants because it was decent protection and bought it for a good price.

Any suggestions are welcome.
