Patatsvlei, touws river, montagu, saggy stone circuit

Sunday attracted 11 riders to tackle the 650 km route from the N1 Engen One Stop via Bains Kloof, Ceres fopr a fill up, up Bo Swaaarmoed Pass to Agter Swaaarmoed onto the R355, to Sutherland the  Matjiesfontein Road to Patatsvlei. Here we took a detour up an dover the mountains to the Konstabel railway station, rode to Touws River for a fill up and then on and over Oubergpass intxo Montagu.
Outside Robertson the group enjoyed plenty of Missippi Streanm beer and great lunch.
Home via Eilandia Pad to Viliersdorp, last fill up and up and over to Franschoek and home.
Nearly 10 hours in the saddle.

The other ones were a bit of a wash out due to dust, but that private road you took us on came out well.

Hey Dodgyloss !
When we do the next XT Bash , we will use that road again , as it comes out 3 km from Constable Stasie , then all dirt to 25 km just short of Laingsburg , then down to Roux pos and Seweweekspoort
