And so it was, after much Christmas festivaties, that Mr-T calls us to saddle up for a braai in the Suur Annysberg area, up in the Kuoga mountains, where there is the "side" entry to the Bavbiaankloof area. Me thinks, Ettiene and Daleen also had something to do with this. THANKS  :thumleft:
We meet at Engen Dias Rd in PE, Monday 27th Dec, and all present are Mr-T (GSA), Ettiene and Daleen(GSA), Keith (KTM990), Danie (1200GS), Beagle Boy(1200GS), Edgehog (1200GS) and myself on a Yammi 400 XT for the day. Its always nice to have “a rose, among the thorns” for the day. Daleen, your presence was appreciated.

Leaving PE we mostly rode the old road all the way to avoid the wind as much as possible. Where I battled in the wind, with the 400, Mr T or Kieth allowed me to slips stream them,(Thanks guys :thumleft:) Then the compulsory stop at

After a real lekker ride, up the valley, east of the Langkloof valley, we descended down to the Kouga river crossing. Mr -T speeding downhill.

Right there, is this wonderful patch, with grass and various facilities (we must track the owner/s down!) This is a magic spot for a potential mini-bash. I think we can squeese  20 tents and with a few opposite the rive on the sandy beach maybe 5 or 6. So potentially 30 – 40 people. Ablutions are the only thing we need to look at. Here goes >

And so we had a real lekker day, in the mountains with great riding, and great company. Thanks Mr-T, for the initiative. :thumleft:

Now, I have to threaten you all with mass prosperity for the new year, and “until” next year, remain safe.  :thumleft:

The wife saw the photo's and has re-assured me that I'll be eating only "Blare" next year, her comment was that I was having too much of a "Whale" of a time  :peepwall:
