Pirelli Scorpion question

Anybody who has some experience with Pirelli Scorpions? Spoke to a guy at Craigs in Bellville who swore by them compared to Trailwings and Kenda. He says lately it seems to be the tyre of choice of the KTM'ers.

I'm quite happy with my TW42/41's (second rear, with front replacement coming up) as an all-weather, all-terrain compromise but they don't seem to last that well .
