Last year I got a call from Pistol, " I'm in town for a couple of days, what shall we do?"
Well we did Cockscomb and Grootrivier, the latter in the rain, all the way into Patensie.
So just before we left for the Katberg I get a PM, " I'm in town, what are we doing this year?"
Baviaans?
We normally take our annual break in January and do the trip by bike as a family, Baviaans and either the Prins Albert or Kammanasie and the Monteque Pass.
This year Sweetness had issues with the XR's toolbox, Klippies's XRtjie would be a bit low for some of the water crossings, so they went by car.
Pistol and I on the other hand went via the Baviaans, uniondale, Angie's G-spot and down to Knysna where we split up. He came back to J'bay and I went to Mosselbay for a few days.
1.Patensie stop for Energade.
2. Bruintjies kraal. Some of these bridges were rebuilt after the floods.
3. As we were early we had to pay at the boom gate.
