Hello everyone,
So after having had an incident with two runaway heifers, my KTM 640 will need some attention in the sense that I need to smooth out the edges of the petrol tank, due to the fall and hopefully be able to make it look good again … any ideas or suggestions on whether I can use fibreglass resin and cloth to do so is safe and suitable for the plastic tank.
I also had to take off the decals to do the repairs. However, that had taken off some of the orange paint. What is the best way for me to respray / paint it orange again and for the paint to adhere to the plastic body?
I have been quoted a ridiculous amount to have this done, so will need to do it myself.
If all else fails, then I will just mend the deep scratches, and ride it as is!
TIA.
