POLISH OR DUBBIN YER NEW BOOTS

bought a pair of nexo sport duel boots , verrry comfy indeeeeeeed

now i normally give my new boots a good polish before i use em , but , i dont seem to get the life out of themm
soooooo  is it right to polish dubbin the new boots "? or just put them on and BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP
