I usually buy stalletjie specials as I'm not able to look after my sunglasses very well, they either go missing or brake, but my last pair my my eyes tired so I decided to look into polorized glasses. Today I bought a pair and on my way home was very impressed with them, everything looked HD and almost no glares. I could also see spots and lines in the road which I cant see with my naked eyes.

That was until I dropped my visor... I thought I was in Eminem's Purple Hills music video...

So get home, do some googling and turns out polorized glasses are not recommended for bike helmets as the concave shape of the visor causes the funky colours with the glasses.

I will return this pair tomorrow, but any recommendations on what to get? Something that will offer good glare protection and not tire ones eye out?
