Hey Guys,
hoping someone can give me a second thought,
i have been attempting to build some soft luggage brackets for Mavis, (I am on a bit of a budget/ and my first time undertaking this kind of a task, so please be gentle on the aesthetics) Although if its crap or going to break please tell me now!
i have now spot welded every thing to start the "fine tuning" before i weld this up, Ill att a pic so yo can get the idea-
RIGHT onto the point
where i am stuck is on pic A has anyone got an idea on the best way to secure the "link bar" that would go to the pillion foot peg area? looked at many options on the web
the OEM one seems to have a bracket/clamp (this would be my first choice! but where do i find this?)
there is another one that seems to use the actual foot peg as the mounting point- not the biggest fan of this option.)
has anyone els got thoughts suggestions on a item to use to secure the brace tube or a better point to secure the brace to the bike? i thought the clamp is a little too poor tech! :laughing4:
