I did it, bought and fitted the Powerflow exhaust. I had some choices, locally I could have fitted the Bosons or the make Briv is very happy with. I just didn't have any feedback of these pipes on a KLR yet.
Spoked to Sharky, who suggested the Powerflow zorst. Phone the boys in Durbs - two days later it was in my garage.
Fitted it on Saturday. Only problem was the two nuts holding the zorst to the sub-frame at the back didn't line up. Took me and Rudeasy the best part of 2 hours to drip and file it right (about 3mm).
What a boytjie - the sound is a not-excessive deep throaty growl - like a thumper is supposed to sound like. Haven't opened her up yet (to damn windy over the weekend) so I'll reserve my judgement on the top-end, BUT there's a teeny bit more umph at the low/med levels. Its nothing to get the wheel up high and far without clutching it.
Finish is good - generally I'm happy. My happyness cost R1600 + overnight freight
Hein - a more throaty Hein - more Neil Diamond than Ozzy Osbourne though
