I allowed BaseCamp to auto-update itself to version 4.0.2. Now all my maps are lost (Garmap Africa Topo & Rec 2010 and 2012, as well as T4A). I also cannot access them in the old Mapsource. I googled and it has been reported by other users as well. Garmin is just ignoring me and other users with same problem.
So, if you haven't yet upgraded your Basecamp software, think twice before doing it!
I've now uninstalled basecamp, and will try to reinstall my maps tonight (have CDs). I need them for navigating to the NW Bash on Friday!
I also had problems with data uploaded for the Nat Bash (and spoke to other dogs who had similar problems), and my conclusion is that all this started after I installed basecamp. So I'll stay away and only use the old MapSource.
Any one else having similar issues?
