Progressive springs or stiffer springs

Hi Guys

I am in the process of upgrading my front fork springs (2010 model). There are so many options available.
Looks like there are basically 2 options available
1) The longer progresive spring or (Wilber, Yacugar etc)
2) Slightly longer/shorter spacer stiffer spring (Racetek, mp suspension etc). 100mm longer than stock but not progressive.

Which option does one go for?

Any advice?
