Hi fellow dogs, as i sit here i'm knakked. My upper body is stiff and slow, reason being for this feeling can only be justified by the following pics.......

Some info for the ride is the least I can do hey, so here is a short description of the ride.
6 2 weelers 3 quads, road to Pryssberg 49KM, of which 30km gravel and the rest is sand, yes ROOISAND, and what a monster, I survived with out a fall!!!! Learnt a lott about sand riding tho, tyres must be under 1 bar but preferreble 0,5 bar. Suddenly youll turn into a pro sand rider!!!

Prynssberg is a farm with a big berg on a very nice gravel road lead to it and it is almost like a pass to get to the top where a telkom tower awaits your arival. This near Groblershoop in the sunny Northern Cape

With out further adeu here is the pics:
1.Prynssberg in the distans
2. The farm
3. Sand monster

Well done
nice :thumleft: :thumleft:
amazing how that area changes from rock with no sand to sand with no rock in short distances

I love the Kalahari's red sand.
I was born with that sand in my blood. (ok, not literally, but you get my drift..  ;D )

Thanks Rooisand, ek verlang nou kwaai.

Unfortunatly no more pic's, in the sand there were not to many foto stops :-\

Thanks for repleis!! :thumleft:

Thanks for posting Rooisand - and thanks for the PM too.  :thumleft:
Ok, so I've got a tyre pressure meter and a pump on my shopping list for tomorrow!

They were probably too busy picking up bikes to take a lot of pictures.

But that sand monster is gorgeous!!!

Have you noticed that the sand is much like a woman?  You get the sea sand type (blonde) which can be a lot of fun, but they let you work very, very hard for it.  The Kalahari sand is like a feisty red head that demands ALL your attention ALL the time.  I still have to ride brunette sand at some point in my life  >:D

So by demand here is 3 more pic's, the last ones tho....

And yes Marnus the Kalahari is like a feisty redhead, ones you ride in this red sand your hooked..... :ricky: :ricky:
