Following on from Dwerg's initiative to get the new guys riding :thumleft: I scouted a route today, from Lynnwood road out eastwards, swinging by Mamelodi via rail service roads, through Kameeldift to Pyramid - where there is a mx/quad track to play around in a bit. It's just over 120km there and back, with a stop for brunch at a watering hole in Kameeldrift afterwards.
The route was very nice today, with very little dust and good, solid surfaces, with some 2-spoor and a few water canal crossings (not deep).
So.... Weather permitting - Saturday 19th Sept, meet up at the Engen cnr of Lynnwood & Solomon Mahlangu (Hans Strijdom), next to CRC, at 8:00am.
