I have never carried a compressor on the bike because I could never find something small and lightweight enough for my minimalist packing.
Yesterday that all changed - I found this beauty at Trac Mac in Paarden Eiland Cape Town - paid R612 for it
It comes with all necessary accesories - air hose, 3 metre power lead, cigarette lighter jobbie and crocodile clamps for direct to battery AND a very little but accurate pencil pressure gauge
Size (packed away in zip up hard shell case) - 150 mm X 150mm X 60 mm
Weight 738 grams
As soon as I got home I did a test and completely deflated a 14 inch car wheel - this little machine pumped it back up to 2 bar in 6 minutes
Absolutely marvellous - no more mini bicycle pumps and CO2 bombs on the trail for me - this little guy is small enough to live under the seat of my SE
