On my standard F650GS I sometimes experience a 'headshake' when going over a series of bumps/holes/ruts on a gravel road.
Now, as most of us know, the 650 has 2 ways of adjusting the rear suspension. The one is the black knob on the side with which you only set the height (according to the manual) while the other is a screw on the bottom of the shock itself which makes the shock harder or softer (again, according to the manual).
My question: Will making the shock harder or softer sort out the headshake?
I know this has been discussed at length, but for some reason I can not find a definitive answer to my question. All I want to know is: harder/softer/non of the above/get a dakar?
