Quick connectors on fuel lines

I figured out why it's so difficult, for me, to reconnect those bloody quick connectors on the fuel lines once they have been disconnected. It's the O-ring. It was such a struggle with the one, that I damaged the O-ring. Went and got new ones...yes, they aren't metric sizes, thanks BMW, but you will get them if you look hard enough. Just a matter of time I guess before I go the brass route
