So I took a quick run to swazi on friday. Didn't plan much and just packed the tent and the sleeping bag hoping to find a spot to stay.
Went over the border from the Barberton side through Bulembu. On to Piggs Peak and then towards Hawane.

Best part is, I don't have a license and the bike is not registered in my name. They did check the VIN at the border though.

Really nice place with lots of wild life around. I asked them for a camp site and they said that it would be R70. I murmured that its slightly pricey and asked them how cold it gets.
At that point the girl at reception said: "let me see if I can get a good rate on a log cabin". She gave me a R400 a night log cabin for R130 and I took it. Hot water and a fridge to keep the beers cold, Awesome. Braai wood supplied...

Unfortunately the trip would prove to be too much for the BMW suspension, but I suspect an overfill from the previous owner.

Can't wait till I get my project going next year to upgrade the suspension. The motor ran really sweet although I will need to look at a gearbox service soon I suspect.
