I have been running a ax41 150 70 18 rear on my KTM 1090R
Now since January this year here is my combined review seein as I am known in my group for killing rear tyres quickly.

TAR

The grip on tar of the tyre is extremely good for such a semi knobby tyre
I have pushed it quite hard in corners and haven’t reached a limit where it felt like letting go.

Wet tar I straight line grip is to be expected from a knobby type tire abit funny
You can break traction easily under hard acceleration but it is controlled

Normal gravel road

It performs good on normal gravel road with the odd loose gravelly sections where a little less throttle input is needed to break out the rear but very controlled

On loose gravel
it tends to tram line abit but not too bad
Higher sidewall tread would help most probably but it works quite well

Rocky

In rocky conditions the grip is fair to good
Haven’t had a puncture yet with the old tyre and seems quite robust in that aspect. (Tankwa roads tested)

Sand

It really shines quite wel in sand at abou 1.5 bar it gives you very good control and easy to get up and go.

Mud

It tend to dig abit and then starts gripping and gives you forward movement
the best I have had thus far below the tractionator Adventure and desert but way above mitas e07 and e07+

The millage I got out of the tyre is normal for my way of riding
Combined
High speed tar
Gravel
Sand
Mud
Rocky
Loaded and unloaded

I got 4100kms out of the rear
Which in my opinion is good for a adv tyre on a Ktm

This is my general review of the tyre
I am not brand controlled or sponsored

My best rear tyre I have used thus far has been the tractionator Adventure

The part where the ax41 is outshines the tractionator adv is on tar. Less weaving feeling on higher speeds and less road noise.

The price question also comes up which in my opinion is a great bang for buck tyre

I payed in January for my 150 18
R1870
which considering my tractionator adv over a year ago was R2450

Hope this helps abit on tyre choices
Will be fitting a new ax-41 this week
