I have the option to buy a R100 Rs (1981) engine, complete and in "good" condition, to replace my ailing R80G/S (1985) engine. The engines look the same, but... will the gearbox just bolt on, will the exhaust headers fit, and my biggest concern, is the flywheel and clutch assembly the same. ??? Can I make the swap without too much hassles? Not to mention the carbs, will the G/S carbs fit or do I use the R100's ?
