After looking for a suitable bike for a while,  I decided to get an airhead as the parts supply was good and a lot of knowledgeable people to help.

My main concern was would I be able to enjoy a bike with kak brakes and kak suspension but decided I can sell it again if I don’t like it

I found this bike available and knew it had a hard life in the hands of the gotcherater but I knew Volker had redone the motor recently and only the heads still had to be redone, this gave me the confidence to buy the bike

First order of business was to get RWC and put into my name and some patching and repairs in order to get through

After a few rides I was pleasantly surprised at how well the bike handled and knew I would be keeping it but the brakes were still shocking but can wait

Time to lose the fairing
