Several months ago I fitted some Trax panniers to my R1150GSA. On a subsequent trip, and again on a short trip this weekend, I noticed that the panniers are behind the rear axle. This is contrary to what I know of loading principles (to keep the weight between the two axles).
My questions:
* Have I possibly fitted the panniers incorrectly, or is this correct for the Trax panniers?
* Bearing in mind that I sometimes have a pillion, is there any (reasonable) way to shift the panniers forward slightly?
If anybody has a similar picture with the OEM BMW panniers, please post it for me for reference. Thanks.
